Our workshops provide teachers with…
- increased science content knowledge,
- access to cutting-edge science research,
- standards-based classroom activities,
- classroom resources,
- networking opportunities with PSU Faculty and other educators and,
- increased confidence in teaching science
Graduate Credit and Act 48
All educators will receive 2 graduate credits for each course. Pennsylvania educators will also receive Act 48 hours. Workshop material is expected to be introduced into your classes the following year.
Location
All workshops are held at Penn State University Park.
Parking
Parking passes are provided for all participants, including local teachers.

The workshops are an outreach program of NASA's Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium, the Eberly College of Science, the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, the Penn State Astrobiology Research Center, NASA Astrobiology Institute, the NSF-funded Penn State Materials Research Science and Engineering Center, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
